In this chapter Paul encourages the Philippians to live in harmony and pray without worry. He also thanks them for their generous gift. He tells them that this spiritual service will be rewarded by God.
Concluding chapter 3, Paul expresses his goal to attain sinless perfection and urges the Philippian believers to follow his example and to wait for their final transformation at the appearance of the Lord Jesus.
As Paul prepares to close his letter to the Philippians, he warned them to be on guard of false Jewish teachers.
Paul completes this section of the update on his well-being, informing the Philippians that he intends to send Timothy to serve them and bring him back a report on their well-being. He also entreats them to graciously welcome and receive Epaphroditus for his service to Paul in the gospel.
