Paul’s letter to the churches of Galatia is a tremendous foundation for the teaching of justification by faith in Christ alone. That is, salvation is only by faith in the atoning death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah and not by our obedience to laws or rules. The Galatian Christians were Gentiles (non-Jews) who struggled with the issue of whether to adopt the Law of Moses (that we sometimes refer to as the Old Testament commandments). Paul’s letter to them strongly expressed that the Law is no longer applicable to Christians and why that is the case. This course will prove to be eye-opening for anyone who wishes to get an understanding on (1) more about the Law of Moses, (2) why was it given and (3) most importantly, why it no longer applies to Christians.
This course includes a full “word-for-word” video teaching and explanation of Galatians. Outlines are provided for each chapter, plus extensive commentary notes. At the end of each chapter, you will be given a short quiz, followed by a final exam at the end of the course. You must make at least 80/100 for each to be considered as passing. You may retest as often as you wish. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded with a certificate of completion.
