Paul moves to the issue of Christian harmony. Because of the coming of “the faith” (Law of Christ), many will find it difficult. Thus, “the strong” (those who transition easily) should not disdain the weak (those who hesitate to change). But all should strive to live harmoniously. In this chapter we have the establishment of Christian freedom.
After Adam sinned God brought judgment, beginning with the serpent, then Satan, then the woman and finally Adam. It is important to remember that it was Adam’s sin ALONE that brought the sentence of death. However, they all were punished because they willingly contributed to the downfall of the man in disobedience to God. (See 1 Corinthians 15:21-22; Romans 5:14-18)
We hear about Satan’s rebellion against God. But how did it all begin? What exactly was Satan accused of? Did he really lead a war in heaven? And what did he propose to accomplish by all of this?
We often hear of Satan as a red, hideous creature with a long tail and a pitch fork, ruling in hell as the punisher of evil doers. But is that who Satan really is? What does the Scriptures say about Satan, from his rise to his fall? Because this subject is so extensive, it will have to be broken up into several videos.
