Genesis 1 and 2 gives us a wonderful picture of creation with the Man and the Woman enjoying each other; and most of all, they are in fellowship with God. In chapter 3 we are introduced to their first temptation to disobey God’s commandment concerning the forbidden tree.
There are times when we believe that we are being punished by God for our sins or something that we did wrong. So, what should we do?
Welcome to the beginning of a new teaching series on the Book of Genesis. But before we jump into studying the text, let’s go over some preliminary material first.
Sexual purity and restraint is commanded for Christians, regardless of cultural acceptance.
The grace of God is without bounds. God is willing to forgive us for ANY and all of our sins. However, we rarely consider that there will almost certainly be negative consequences, sometimes lasting for YEARS.
