Paul continues his eschatological teachings concerning the Day of the Lord, a unique time of God’s judgment on the whole earth. And he closes his letter exhorting the Thessalonians to holy living, looking to the Coming of Christ (Rapture).
We are destined to suffer. (1 Thessalonians 3)
Paul informs the Thessalonians believers of his great desire to see them again and emphasizes how they are not to become discouraged because of suffering.
Let This Mind be in You (Philippians 2:1-18)
Paul continues to urge the Philippians to live unselfishly, considering the needs of others above their own needs, following after the great example of Jesus Christ Himself.
